Tomas D. Maes Interview conducted November 13, 2006 in Helena, Mont. In this interview Captain Maes discusses early background, joining United States Air Force, wrestling in high school and in the Air Force, duty assignment in South Korea (1986-1987), three years in Alaska, attending Colorado State University, joining the Montana Air National Guard, attending officers candidate school in Colorado, graduation and assignment as rifle platoon leader, deployment to Bosnia, employment as safety officer at Fort Harrison in Helena.
